Look at my Savings

I just want too say check out this blog. Connie is amazing. I went off her notes and I only spent $15.00 at Fry's and Walgreen's. I didn't need any of these items right now but great idea too stock up and have them just in case. But I felt like superwoman today with everything that I got and the little that I paid.
Walgreen's, Got the Dimetapp on sale for $3.99. Then went to a site online and printed off a $2.00 coupon so I spent $4.00 on both.
Then got the Crest Toothpaste for $1.99 then in there monthly coupon book, they have a dollar off and I had a $1.00 off coupon from the Sunday paper. So spent nothing.
Then I realized I didn't get the toothbrushes so I paid and when I paid the cashier gave me a $5.00 off coupon. So I got the toothbrushes $1.99, $1.00 coupon in monthly magazine, and gave him the $5.00 coupon and he told me I had to spend at least $5.00 to use this coupon. So I grabbed the closest thing at the register got The ludens cough drops, extra gum, M & M's and toothbrushes. I only spent .95 cents
Then went to Fry's and got two Febreze They are on sale for $6.99 (at my Fry's) then had two $5.00 coupons then the Oral B toothbrush for $5.99 and a $5.00 coupon. So I spent $5.00 if felt really good. Thanks again Frank for coupons and Connie for guidance.

$69,999.00

How crazy is that. I got an email from my Realtor that she thinks it is time to lower our home once again too $69,999.00. The bank after 6 months still hasn't set a foreclosure date. Which is good but, very surprising. Crazy how the market has gone just straight down. Well spread the word our home is almost free LOL.

Congratulations

I just wanted to tell my little sister Mindy congratulations. She had her second baby. Brylee Rose Colwell 6 lbs 12 ounces, 19 inches. Devin and I were able to leave all the kids home with Taylor, Yeah and go down to the hospital and visit the two of them. She had a lot of company crammed in a small room. She looked like she was in lot of pain but she still looked great, AS ALWAYS. She was a trooper hope she gets feeling better as the night goes on.
It made me wanna cry when I held that little newborn baby in my arms it made me realize that I will never have another baby ever. As much as I love my kids and yes I have plenty. I would have more kids if I could afford them and had much much much more patience. Thank goodness Devin was the smart one and went and got fixed. I love babies but would love to trade them in once they are three LOL. Guess I will just love on all my brothers and sisters that are still not done having kids.
Love you Mindy

Daddy Daughter Dance

I gotta tell you, I am really enjoying being the Leader with Taylor's Jr. Girl Scout Troop in Florence. These past two years has really been fun. So this year we realized that we don't really see the Father's involved with girl scouts. Of course it is because they are always working. So this Saturday we had a Daddy Daughter Dance and we had a great turnout and I know that it wasn't what the Dad's were totally into but I think for the most part they enjoyed the evening with their daughters.

We started out the night with my Dad (who is a professional Country Western Dance Instructor) teaching the couples (LOL) the two step. And want too send a special thank you for coming all the way from Mesa to help these couple's dance. Really simple to start off with. Then he added some turns into it. Some got it and some didn't. But that's okay we really enjoyed watching everyone try and let me tell you. The girls always had a smile on their faces. They will remember this night for a very long time. Thanks dads for participating.

Then we ate a Mexican Potluck. All the girls brought something to share. We had plenty of food. Thanks for everyone pitching in we couldn't have done it without your help.

Then the girls got their dads back up there for two dances the "YMCA" and "Macarana" Gotta tell you that was the best part of the night when the dads were getting their grove on and coming out of their comfort zone. Thanks Devin, he isn't one to open up and show off his hips but we now have it on video to prove it. Love you babe.

Then the girls had their dads come up and recieve an award which the girls decided what their dads deserved. Since we had a set of twins in our troop he got two, lucky man. Most of the girls gave them the "Best Dad Award". Think they were too shy too think of anythingelse.

I am glad that the dad's were able to come down to their daughters level for one night and act imiture and bond with their girls. I know I really enjoyed it when my dad used to do that with me and my sisters.
