Well we had a school fundraiser at "SKATE Land" Remember that place. I just wanna scream. I was gathering up Taylor and Calvin, so we could leave and I had a classmate of Taylor's come up too me and tell me that she had fallen and couldn't get up, LOL. I looked at him like what do you want me to do, I know what a horrible mom. Then I realized that she was hurt and she needed her MOMMY. She was so brave sitting in the middle of the floor with a crowd of kids asking if she was OK. Meanwhile I had to have that boy watch my younger two so I could go onto the skate floor and check on her. Yep sure enough she couldn't walk. So thank goodness she is tiny( 11 years old and only 59 pounds) I picked her up and walked across the floor, dodging skaters. I even ran with her in my arms, wow what a funny looking woman. But I felt like SUPER MOM. I could see that she wanted to cry but wasn't gonna because the whole school was there. Felt really good about the kids in her class even boys kept coming up too her and asking if she needed anything and if she was OK. I don't remember 6Th grade boys doing that for me when I was her age.
Anyways, I had to have Calvin push the stroller, Tayton hold Daxton's hand and pray that Daxton would actually let him while I carried Taylor too the car without hitting her leg on anything, And I actually did it. YEAH!!!!!!!!! By the time that I actually go everybody loaded, I finally had time to think and realized that I hadn't even told Devin (her father) what had happened. He was helping Kevin move. So I ran over dropped all the boys off with him and Taylor and I headed too the ER.
Let me tell you I was there forever but I think that they treat kids faster than they do adults. There was a lady there for two hours before us and she was taken back ten minutes before us. And we left there just about five minutes after she did. WAy craZy
Well the outcome of the whole night is that she didn't break it or sprain it she just bruised it really bad so she is now on crutches. She has to ice it and straighten it a few times a day. That is really hard for her. But I don't think she is milking the situation yet she is really missing being able to move around freely. She is a tough little girl. Love you brave little me. MISS TAYLOR
The last picture if kinda dark but it is Tayton hanging on for dear life too the wall on the other side of the floor. He was having a lot of trouble skating on the slick floor.
