Update on kids

Hello everyone, Sorry about the past posts and I am back and happier than I was then I due have to apologize to everyone.

Alot has happened and I haven't had the strength to post. So hopefully I can do it now before dinner and kids.

Taylor

Ok, Sunday was a very emotional Day, We have been inactive off and on for the last few months due to my emotional state. But, hopefully it is all over with. I am getting adjusted to my new life and schedule. Anyways, Taylor had her first bishop interview and then off to her first Sunday with the Young Womans. WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW, I am so not ready to believe that my little girl is in young woman's. Well, I went with her to Primary and they gave her a gift for departing Primary. Gotta tell you I was so excited for them to grow up but now that it is happening I am REALLY having a HARD time with it. I just had to hold the tears back. And as they took her to YW room I followed and had to learn how to let her go. Taylor is a very amazing daughter and is very independent just like her mother but sometimes I wish she would ask or need help. Makes me feel like she is still a little girl, Which she isn't, well size yes but I am just gonna have to learn to stop holding her hand and let her grow. And pray she grows the right way and better than her parents have. Then this coming Wednesday she is going off to Girls Camp. I am also very sad because I will have to say my goodbyes the night before due to the fact that I work and am gone before the sun comes up. Will miss her.

Last week of school She had a 6th grade promotion night. Where she received a trophy for most improved with Band and playing the flute. She really struggled when she first started and now that the year is over she is playing amazing. And I am so proud of her for not quiting and practicing practicing practicing. There are pictures with her school friends notice the cute height difference she is and will always their LITTLE sister.

This summer she has been helping out her dad watching kids so much. And I know that she is very appreciated.

Calvin

Calvin had a orchestra concert and did such a good job, they also had a 4th grade program and he just smiled and looked handsome the whole time.

When we headed off to The Taylor home, thank you Frank and Karren. And the kids were able to feed the horse. Not too into it like I thought they would be. Then the boys roped their mom. Very funny sight these pictures don't do justice. Loved every minute of it. Thanks boys for the fun memories. We also were able to enjoy a few hours of a rodeo and watch Devin's cousins and visit their new rodeo grounds. All the boys loved it. Calvin got a new cell phone this summer and he is loving the texting part and think he the funniest little boy in the whole world. One little quote that he said today that just made me laugh when I was supposed to be working not playing with my kiddos. LOL.

K I will try and translate.

Calvin: Hi Mom

Mom: Hey buddy whatcha doin

C: Texting you

M: really sounds like fun

C; sure, I did my chores.

M; Thank you are you bored

C: yes

M; Do some reading or math work,

C; k Groan, J/K

There was a lot more texting in the middle of it but it was mostly him just being bored and I couldn't text after every thing my boss was watching. I thought it was cute he is putting the expressions in there too. He is just like his dad has the funniest and cutest expressions or comments.

Tayton

Well, lets just say he is turning into the sweetest little man ever. He has been such an awesome little boy ever. Dad and I were really concerned about him recently. About two weeks ago, he was sleeping in bed when all of the sudden he woke up screaming his head off. Well come to find out he had been bit by a scorpion and was still being bit. He had it wadded up in his pj shirt. Well we killed it and proceeded to make phone calls to find out what too do. After only 30 minutes he was going into seizure mode. Couldn't control himself, while foaming at the mouth and throwing up. Sorry for the details. We then proceeded to call 911. Where it felt like eternity for them to arrive. We then jumped into the truck and sat in our front yard for over an hour trying to get his IV in his little arm while he was moving like crazy. It took Dad and I and two other ambulance drivers to hold him down and we still were unsuccessful on getting on in him. So we finally said get going and we were off to the ER. Well lets just say I think Tayton had every nurse and Dr in his little curtain room. There to help and assist him to getting him better. I was a complete wreck and am tearing up as I am writing this. Was a very scary moment that I never want too go threw again. After 5 hours and seeing my little man having down syndrome and autism characteristics. He had 3 shots of the anti venom and he was almost better. We had the most amazing nurse hold Taytons arm for 3 hours straight too restrain him from hurting himself and everyone else. When we left he went over to Lincoln and said Thank you and Lincoln lifted him up and gave him a bear hug. That was so sweet. Let me tell you that Lincoln wasn't even supposed to be helping Tayton he was in a different location but when the emergency called he jumped to the opportunity and did an amazing job. Thank you so much Lincoln. He is one who is an amazing employee and very grateful for his dedication. Tayton is only about 60 people who have had this antidote so we had to read up on it before we signed the paper and let me tell you I gave that one too Dad, Mom wasn't in the right state of mind. Tayton is doing fine now still won't sleep in his bed but we are slowly working on it. He was really sore the next few days after the accident but other than that he was great.

Then two days after that he lost his first tooth, Man was he nervous about that one. But once it got hit out by the ball he was excited to get his dollar. Which the tooth fairy forgot the first night. LOL We are hiring a new one by the way.

Daxton

Well for everyone who doesn't know he has speech delay, But what is really amazing is he is starting to talk correctly and it makes mommy very sad. But, grateful at the same time. I know that he needs to talk right but miss the cute words that he said.

Daxton is becoming that family pill, he is learned NO, and all those amazing bad habits that he should have learned about a year ago, and gradually gotten worse but for him he is just hitting us with it all at once so we are learning to deal with him patiently, Well trying that is.

While we were up at the Taylor home, and at the rodeo Daxton had this love for the rope and was wanting to learn how to rope the bulls head. So grandma borrowed a rope from the family and entered him into a contest. He didn't win but for a first timer and no practice he did amazing. Think we are going to buy one and let him practice and next time maybe he will place.

Aeden

He is growing up so fast and it makes me so sad. He still isn't talking but we are working on sign language and he has please and thank you down. Well not perfect but I love that he is trying. He is all about playing right along side his older brothers and sister. He tries so hard to keep up with them. But, glad he still gets time too stop and love on his mommy.

Well, Devin is still working on his schooling in august he will go full time and hopefully get it over faster and better our families future. He is still the Young Men's 1st Counselor and starting to have his fun with weekend camp outs. Mom is sad because he can't take a few boys along with him to lighten my load. LOL very proud of him and glad he is setting the great example for his sons.

I am still working with photo and liking it missing being home but I have already been working for 3 months and going by fast. So I am counting down the days till Devin's school is done and I can return to my favorite job as mom and house wife and this time I will have a better respect for my calling and enjoy every second I have to spend it with my kids. Because as I am learning they are growing up right before my eyes and I am so sad but excited to see how they are turning out. They all are doing amazing and glad they are setting great examples for their siblings and friends.

Sorry so long been awhile since I posted. Hopefully it won't be this far away next time. Enjoy
