I just had to post something different. My mother in law always has these CRAZY home remedies that sound so off the wall but as crazy as it is they really work. So I thought that I would share them with you and please share yours.
1. Putting Vicks Vapor Rub on the bottom of your feet (put socks on your feet so the vicks doesn't make a mess) for when you have a cough.
2. Cornstarch, when you have any type of rash it helps take it away and helps keep it from coming back. I use if for myself and on my babies for their diaper rash. When it is so bad that they are bleeding. The creams don't stick to their little bottoms but the cornstarch does and it helps protect it from the next time.

as crazy as this sounds, it works! Dominik had the flu virus this year and got a realy high fever, we couldn't get it to come down and were getting desperate. We had him put his feet into a bowl of eggs and withing 20 minutes his fever broke from around 103 down to about 99. We were shocked, but it was the only thing that worked, drawing the heat from his body through his feet into the cold eggs. We swear by it now ;o)
