Happy Birthday 12Taylor

Well, I am in complete shock right now as I am writing this Blog. I say it but just can't believe it. My Daughter just turned 12. Let me say it one more time. My Daughter just turned 12. Nope not helping. LOL. I know that a lot of it has to do with the fact that none of my kids look their age. But still where the heck did time go. 12 years. Not sure what to say to that one. Crazy isn't it.

Well, since it was her special day I took her out and we took pictures of her. And we made cards for her to give out to family and friends. I think they turned out really cute. Helps that she is in them but thanks to smilebox I was able to create this master piece. LOL. Anyways enjoy. I will post her party later.

Quadding Fun

Holly Cow this was a much needed day. I have a quad that just sits there and doesn't really get used. Lots of factors of that one I won't get into.
Aeden learned how to wave and say hi so that is what he did almost the entire time the guys would ride by doing wellies. Plus I wish I had a better camera so it can show how hi the guys really got. Mine isn't mean for the fast motion. Makes me sad. But oh well.
So Kevin took Devin out to the race tracks off of ironwood but was only allowed to ride one lap due to race day. But they decided to hit a side road and Devin called me to join him. So we did. But, Let me tell you how much I hate riding in the heat. And so do the kids. WOW 100' degrees sucks. I hate AZ for that reason. But, was a fun hour and a half of riding. Kids had a good time, had some good family and friends time, Plus, I got a little bit too much sun but that's ok my skin needed a little darker color. LOL. Well enjoy I know we did.

Family Fun Bowling Night

Well, We were down a kid so thought it would be a little cheaper to have a family fun night so we hit up the bowling alley. Let me tell you I was a little hesitant about taking two kids 3 and 1 to a bowling alley. But let me tell you they did awesome. Daxton actually got into the mood and loves to roll the balls down the ramp. (they have cool ramps for the little kids so all they have to do is push it down the ramp and it goes) Tayton actually got a strike using the ramp. LOL. Aeden even got a few turns pushing the ball down the lane. But, he wasn't too interested in the balls going down the lanes just when they come out of the shoot. That was scary he tried putting his hand in the spinning thing. Not cool.
Score:
1st mom

2nd Tayton

3rd Dad

4th Calvin
5th Daxton/Aeden

Well here is our family fun night out. Enjoy

Boys Class Performances.

Well, both boys had their class performances. They both were in the front row thank goodness so we could get great pics. They both did a great job when singing. Poor Tayton kept looking at Mom and Dad and we always had BIG smiles on our faces so of course that made him smile and loose concentration of what he was singing. But he still stayed on track and did a great job.
Wow seeing these pictures makes me realize how much they need hair cuts. LOL still handsome boys though.

Easter

Easter Sunday was a fun filled day. We had a relaxing day. Then it all began. Devin's Family came over for coloring of eggs then we made dinner for everyone. Ham, potatoes, and so on. It was so much fun spending a special day with family and filling the kids heart with joy. In our home the Easter Bunny usually doesn't leave gifts just a few things of candy and sunday clothes but this year he was extra nice and left the kids a Teather Ball. Even the Adults enjoy a game or two. But after almost loosing to Taylor I hurt my pinky so that helped my cause. LOL. Sad when your kids beat you in a sport. But fun too see THEIR joy

I was so horrible, I totally forgot to blog about Calvin's 10Th birthday. Well it is a tradition in our Family that when the kids turn 10 we take them to Disneyland just him and one parent for the day. But this year Calvin chose Mom but since I knew that I couldn't handle driving alone all that way. SO I voted to take dad along with us which was a great idea since I get motion sickness and Dad and Calvin don't so we left on a Saturday morning about 1 am got too Disneyland and then spent all day at both parks and then stayed 6 hours in a hotel to sleep then off for another 6 hour drive. We had a good time but next time we will stay longer and have more fun not so rushed. LOL here is a few pics. enjoy Happy Birthday Calvin Frank Harris. Love you little man.

Disaperence

Well, I have basically disappeared from the blogging scene for a while.

A lot has happened since I last posted. Well, it has been almost 3 months since Devin lost his job. We decided to have him start going to school Full time instead of part time. And then soon after I found a full time job. Working from 6 am to 2:30 pm. It has been really hard for me too get the hang of it. I have been a stay at home mom for the past 12 years and now I am a working woman. I gotta tell you stay at home moms, you all take it for granted. I am totally included in that. It has got too be the most hardest job ever to stay home with kids all day long well 24/7 but, Now that I am working and away from my babies. I gotta tell you though little things that they did that drove me nuts I miss. I miss running the errands, cleaning my home, taxing my kids too and from. Making sure that every bill was paid and well basically everything that we do as moms. It is the MOST IMPORTANT job you could ever do and for those of you that have to work and send your kids to day care I feel for you and the pain that you go threw every day when dropping them off at the babysitter. I am so blessed that Devin is the full time Dad instead of daycare but, it still breaks my heart too know that I am not the one that wakes them up every morning and does all the things that they need to get threw the day.

I am so excited for Devin he is able to have the time to focus on his school work and now be able to graduate earlier than planned. Since he will be taking more classes now that he is home full time. That way he can get up everyday and enjoy going to work.

Thankfully it only took the boys a few days to adjust too the new routine. Even the older kids felt the need to help dad threw the new schedule. Even though they aren't even home during the day. LOL Calvin decided to remind Dad that he needs to take Daxton to school 3 days a week but the bus brings him home. LOL Like dad didn't know that.

Well, I am OK and knowing that it is only temporary change in mine and my kids life. I know that we will all be blessed to much in the future by this sacrifice that we are all making.

Spring Break

Shea playing on Elephant and being cute

Taylor helping Daxton touch the ground with their butts.

Cheese!

Aeden loved the toys, Not so much the swings. Since Tayton hit him when he walked in front of him. But he bounced right back up and kept playing.

Babies trying to play on big toys

On the first official day of Spring Break Devin was off helping our Bishop do some work. So I was on my own with all the kiddos, but since I didn't want too just sit at home I decided to drag them plus the two cousins, Nikki and Shea, to Usery Pass for a light hike. Oh yes it was light it only took us about 25 minutes. Well in my defense pushing that stroller on the loose gravel wasn't my thing. And I am not in shape to carry Aeden. We need to get a back pack then I am all for it.

Another Family Outing

On Presidents Day we took at trip to the Ostrich farm near Tucson. But since dad wasn't able to make it we decided to take him too see all the fun. So the Family took a trip and had a bunch of fun feeding the four different kinds of animals.

Taylor feeding the cute little miniature donkeys.

The last time we went over here Aeden wasn't afraid of the deer, But this time he needed a little bit of help so dad took the honor and held his hand while they feed.

Daxton was loving the deer. He never wanted to leave. I think he tried feeding every one of them.

Mom relaxing with my baby.

Our handsome boys relaxing after the long day of feeding farm animals

On our way too the Ostrich Farm, Taylor had her IPOD and she decided to share with Aeden. Once he realized what it was that she had he loved it and wouldn't let it go.

I love this picture, No Devin is not trying to kick the deer. he was kicking the food closer to the deer that dropped out of his cup.

More of Aeden loving the cool music. Mom's country must have been getting old.

Calvin's Conservation Project

Well, I am so glad it is over but yet so mad that we waiting till the last week to get it accomplished. Calvin has a big project for Scouts that he has to do once a year. And so far he has been able to do them the last/first two years. I want him to accomplish them they are great things for the boys to do. They aren't' required but are great learning tools for the boys. Plus great for the environment.

So, Saturday morning we woke up early and went over to a empty field next too Red Mountain Park, and got too work cleaning it up. I never realized how many people take their pets and walk that empty dessert. But people also dump their trash there too so it wasn't' too bad but definitely needed cleaned up.

Taylor had a friend stay the night, so she got the honor of helping us. I told her she could just come for the ride but she jumped right in with the rest of us and was a great help.

So between Taylor, Taylor's friend, Calvin, Tayton, Aeden and Mom we got a lot cleaned up.

Devin hadn't slept too well that night so I let him and Daxton sleep in. But about an hour into it I got a phone call, "Why didn't you wake me up." I really didn't think he would care that he missed it but guess he was. What a great guy I have. Not many men would be upset too miss picking up trash in the desert. But I think it was more just too spend family time together. Not the trash part LOL.
