HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, It has been another Harris that turned of age HAHAHAHA Aeden Lucas is now 3, BOO HOO
I am so sad our baby is already 3 since he is our last that makes it even sadder.

Well since dad is out of town we just had a fun time without him. Went to Walmart and let him pick out his own toy. I took cupcakes into his preschool class, then hit up Mcdonalds for lunch then went with the cook's to LJ's Pizza for dinner. We all had a great day and hope that he did too. Next week we will have an official party to celebrate it. We love you handsome little man and I am having a great time being your mom.

Daxton Niall is in PreK still at same school but different teacher. He is loving the idea of having to take his back pack everyday to school has been able to share snacks with other kids and just learn.

Aeden and Mrs. Linda first day of Preschool for speech. Poor kid doesn't want to talk so he gets to go to school. We all were excited to have him start talking but mom sure does miss him while he is gone. That hour and a half is kinda lonely but do enjoy the peace and quiet

So the other day we were driving down the road and Aeden of course was being very loud and annoying to his brothers and sister. So Daxton leans over to me and says Mom where did we get him? I half laughing said what, so he repeated it and then said Can we send him back? We of course all were dieing laughing and he wasn't joking very serious. I then had to explain that he can from my belly and not really easy to put him back won't fit anymore. So of course he looked at me with a frustrated look and said OK guess we can just deal with him. LOL That all came from a 4 yr old boy. LOL Love to hear the craziness that my kids say.

update

Well, just wanted to update you really quick on our status. A lot has changed yea for the better. Devin is now officially a full time employee, and loving it. Only been two weeks but he is really enjoying it so far, YEAH!!!!!!!!!!! I just had another surgery to take away the pain. But they unfortunately didn't find what they were looking for, good but bad. So now I have to have a hysterectomy, BOOHOO for me. Not thrilled about that. Well I guess kinda scared. Not a fan of the knife. LOL And last we are moving YEAH HOO!!!! My dad has been gracious enough to let us live here for the last two years and are now moving out so he can move back in. Not looking forward to the actual moving part but so excited about getting our own place and well MUCH BIGGER. more details to follow. Anyways we are doing great and ready for the next chapter, SCHOOL and new place.

I started Scanning all my photos and seriously I have been scanning since 8:30am and it is now 11 am and I am almost done with ONE envelope. I am gonna be at this FOREVER!!!!!

I have a lot to do but know that I am all caught up with the photos on my camera. I have been doing them on the weekends so the last two years are all caught up. I know that makes me feel so good but feel so bad for my last few boys not as much in theirs as the oldest two have two albums each and FULL. Well wish me luck I am on a mission. No more developing pics I am doing CD's from now on. DIGITAL is the way too go.

Still ALIVE!!!!

Well, I can't believe how long it has been since I last posted. Lets just say more than I can write but I will try to keep it short.

Update on Devin. He had his surgery back in February and it went GREAT! He went in to see the Surgeon and a week later had the surgery. Very fast and Very stressful. Well at least for me. Trying to figure out where the kids were going and how to juggle the balance of kids and still visiting and helping Devin while in the hospital. Thank goodness he was taken good care of while in there but I have been in a hospital at least 5 times LOL and know how boring it is exceptionally when you have NO visitors. He only stayed one night then released but came home to get sick, HIGH fever and almost had to return to the hospital three hours after leaving, but was able to monitor it from home and to wake up the next day feeling much better. He has a 4 to 6 month full recovery but from the moment the Morphine quit working he couldn't feel the sharp pain the would run down his left leg. Crazy how fast the results were. He is very sore when he wakes up every morning but, after his morning stretches and walking about for a few he is feeling 80% better so far. Thank you to all the friends and parents that supported us threw this hard and stress full time. Devin has also went back to work part time to help out, and received a new calling in church, Elders Quorum Secretary. New for him but think he is really enjoying it.

Well, I am now working a different job and so far it is a lot more challenging then the last but I think that is what I need to keep my little brain working. LOL. I am now a sales woman for a glass company. Aero Glass so please refer your friends and family to me and I will help them. My health is getting much better thanks to LOTS of time and patience. I may have to go back in for one more surgery but still have to wait till the end of May to see what the doctor says. I am shooting for the next surgery to completely get rid of everything. (girl stuff don't wanna go into detail LOL) I also have now a new calling in church Primary Assistant Secretary, and still the wolf leader in cub scouts. I am excited for the challenge of two callings and full time mom again, the smiles are back on my face. YEA ME!!!!!

KIDS_ Well Taylor is ending her first year in Jr. High and Let me tell you how proud of her we are. This year has been the hardest for everyone especially her for keeping up with the 7 different teachers and all their different policies. Lets just say grades haven't been the best UNTIL NOW she is averaging a C average. for those of you with kids that struggle know why we are excited. Even her teachers have called me to tell me how proud of her they are for all of her improvements and Hard work she has put in the last few months. She also has received a new calling in YW's she is the Beehive Secretary, See the pattern LOL.

Calvin, just turned 11 and now in Scouts. He went on his first scout overnight camp out. He froze his little body off but he LOVED IT. First thing out of his mouth was mom we need to do that again soon. Thank goodness Devin is taking them to Fathers and sons this next weekend or he would be devastated LOL. Since he has just went onto scouts he has finished Weeblos, and he has received the highest honor for cub scouts. Calvin received his Weeblo and Arrow of Light. His belt is so full of loops that we can't fit anymore on his belt. Would help if he wasn't so skinny, LOL but I am so proud of you buddy for all your hard work and effort. I know that you struggles with a few of the requirements but never gave up.

Tayton- is on honor roll at school in his first grade class and just soaring threw school. Amazing how the teachers last year wanted to hold him back and look at him now. So glad I didn't listen and had faith that he would get it and run with it.

Daxton is doing amazing at driving both Devin and I crazy. He is so bored at home so we are looking for a preschool for him to enter to get all the energy that he has built up in him. When he was speech delay he was behind in more than just speech, but now he has caught up and running with it. So now we are trying to catch up too him. Very active and LOVES to learn about everything. But sad part is we don't have all the answers but since we are parents we should is what he tells us.

And Aeden- The Baby should say it all VERY SPOILED SNOT!!! LOL We love you buddy. He is full of it all the time thinks he is the king of the castle. Well he is who am I kidding. Aeden is trying to keep up with Dax and the two of them are so cute together. Some days are more challenging then others but well I guess that is the brotherly rivalry. We are still working on that one.

Life is getting much easier so far but know that a challenge or trial is gonna come our way soon way to easy for that. But I am ready for the journey ahead. Pictures to come on my laptop and its dead. LOL

Well, this year has come and gone. Holly COW!!!!!!!!! Well a little update I have been super busy at my job developing pictures off the Internet and needless to say Xmas is the busiest season of all. Everyone is ordering their Xmas cards. When returning to work I received a promotion without the raise or the title. More or less just the nice thing to do and help where I am needed. So I was overseeing the greeting card packagers. And needless to say Thank goodness for awesome temps. They all did an amazing job at helping us get the cards out as fast as we could. We still were two days behind even some days three, But your hands and brain can only move or function as fast as we let them. We all were working seven days a week and 9 to 10 hr days. I unfortunately had a few days off in there but due to my teeth, and unfortunately with the holiday season the dentist is unable to finish the work until January. But life will continue asap.

We, had our annual Thompson/Banks family Xmas party and we had Santa's elf this year to pass out gifts and their annual ornaments. We left early due to the amount of pain I was in and had to take my drugs and they make me loopiand tired. LOL, but thanks Mom and Skip for the precious Memories that I know our kids love and look forward too.

Then we went to the Harris Family Xmas Party. In laws made dinner for everyone, YUMMY and then shared wonderful memories from when their boys were younger, Real tear jerker. Yea I know I am a softy. Then had our white elephant gift exchange. Sorry frank the purse was meant for the girls. But it defiantly is your color. HAHAHAHA. And we handed out our hand made gifts to everyone. This year they all got a calender of the new family pics. I wish I had made it earlier much easier than I thought it would be.

Then Xmas eve we had my parents, Devin parents, and my dad and his friend over for dinner and presents. Was a night we all enjoyed and hope to do again next year always better the more people you have over.

Xmas day was a 7:30 am start and by 10 am Mom was ready for a nap. Was a lot better than I expected four out of five kids were happy and satisfied. Was small but think that we did OK. They only get 3 gifts this year but we had a secret Santa drop off gifts for the whole family. Wow lets just say I was in such aw that someone first could afford to give gifts for a family of 7 on top of their family and lets just say they weren't cheap. Kids LOVED all of them. Well we all did and were so grateful that people were thinking of our family. One year I would love to repay the favor and help when needed. One year our time will come.

Update on Devin

Well, He finally has started his Physical therapy, Last month. And doesn't seem to be doing anything. He has found out that two of his cousins about the same age as he is also has the same problems that he has and one of them has decided to do the surgery and seems to be doing great from what we have heard. So we are basically waiting for his Neurologist and the Pain management Dr. to give the OK for surgery. He is still in a lot of pain and ready to get back into the swing of things with our family. He is such an amazing husband and father and we all miss him being physically active with our family. I know that he is dieing inside that he can't do more with us. But we would rather him not do the physical stuff and be with us longer and healthier. Good luck babe and you are in our thoughts and prayers.
