Another ER visit.

Well lets just say they are going to know us by first name basis. Well another night of time sitting in the waiting room.

We thought that our kids were playing a little too quiet so asked Calvin to check on them. Of course they are fine they are just playing. Well not really they are all teaching Aeden how to jump off the bunk beds. Well lets just say he jumped the wrong direction. He jumped back wards and hit the corner post. And gashed open his head. Pics can be a little disturbing if you have a week tummy beware/ Of course he is tough and fine and was trying the next day to do it again. Man I don't know what we are going to do with this one. LOL. Well all of them have had their adventurous moments. And they never seem to learn from their accidents. LOL

Few Fun Activities

Since Taylor has started Jr. High she had her first Band concert. So we all ventured over to her school and supported our big girl.
These are just some random shots of that night. Her with friends and after photos of family and Devin's in laws.

October Break

Kids playing.
Our fun hike, Calvin got ahold of the camera. And shoot happy. LOL

Mom and Aeden. Say CHEESE!

Kids being adventurous.

Our family Photo. Love timers. Have to be very creative to get hese kind of shots. LOL

Learned how to say Cheese and gets so excited when camera is around so addorble.

Love you babe.

Well, since I have been home with kids and not much money to do anything with. So since I have wonderful in laws and they have a house up north we decided to surprise the kids and travel up there for the week. It was so nice to get away and try to forget about the stressful time. I know that the kids ALL loved the get away. They were all able to play outside and enjoy all their time. Plus get a chance to hang out with their cousins. Since it was nice and windy I wasn't much of the outdoors woman. I didn't get much of the kids but wish I did.

On our way home we decided to stop off at the the Kohl's Ranch Campground and took the kids on a light and not long enough hike for them. but too long for Devin. He was so sad since he couldn't get right out there and play with the kids in the yard up north. But was grateful for the hike with the family. We all enjoyed it. Looks like I need to get back into shape was really hard hiking with a two yr old fat man LOL on my shoulders. But lets just say I am a trooper. LOL.

It was really nice to be home and in our nice cozy beds.

Calvin being silly again waiting for aliens to take him away.

Boys eating watermelon with Paris.

Pool Fun. Fawn trying to keep all the kids on the raft. Wasn't very easy but lots of fun.

Well, I can't believe it has been so long since I have posted on here. This was a daily thing up until 6 months ago. Lets just say how much life has changed in only 6 months. I will try and keep it short bear with me. LOL

Devin, He is still finishing his education FULL TIME now. Very stressful I may say. Been involved now for the past year and this semester especially has gotten difficult. He is taking on of the most difficult classes for his line of Education. But he went from making an F to now a middle C which at the middle of the semester didn't even look possible to him. But after redirecting his thoughts and mind set. He has amazingly brought it up and we are all so proud of him. Also, Labor day morning he woke up with a back pain that has never gone away. Tried Chiropractor and many Dr appointments. And after an MRI has come to find out that he has a degenerated Disk, plus Arthritis in his back. So, after daily, nightly and midday pain. He hasn't been able to function much. While taking care of kids full time, School full time, and pain he has some how survived. He is such a trooper.

Fawn(me) went from working full time at an awesome company to two weeks ago having to quit and help take care of the kids and taxi Devin around to many Dr. appointments. I now am part time working and full time stresser LOL. But, I am so much happier back to being the full time care taker of this family. Can become overwhelming having to basically do everything. I am loving the challenge and hoping and praying that Devin will be able to get better sooner than later very hard seeing him in all this pain. Not a fun site. I look at people who have been married for as long as we have and go from a normal happy healthy life to having an injury or illness turn their lives up side down. But I have learned that with our family and marriage it has made us closer than I could ever imagine.

Taylor is now in Jr. High same one Devin and I went too. Scary, We have a Jr higher. LOL. She is about two feet smaller than all her classmates LOL but the cutest one out of them all. Everyone tells her how much they want to squeeze her and carry her around. But, she definitely can hold her own. She is a little pistol when she has to be. She also is loving that she is in YW's and looks forward to her Wednesday night activities. Crazy how fast they grow and mature, Being the only girl she thinks that she has to be the boys mom but I am always here to remind her be a kid and enjoy life. She is an amazing help to this family and know that we couldn't do it without her.

Calvin, has just started 5Th grade and growing slowly everyday. He is so much stronger Physically (yeah) and mentally. He is the little comedian (just like his Father and Grandpa's) He is always the one who can make you smile. He always knows what too say when you are down or just basically ready to pop. He can recite any movie quote and make you bust up laughing and pee your pants. LOL. He is Having to learn how to step up and help with his little brothers now that Taylor isn't always home, Due to school and Yw's. He has been really challenged since his little brothers weigh almost the same as he does, but he is always trying to help out where he can. Thanks Bubba.

Tayton, He is now in 1st grade and loving it. He is Mr shy now. Yes I said shy. Can you believe that MR. BULLY now Mr. Shy. He is the cutest kid ever. He has girls chasing him left and right at school but he gets so nervous around them. Says hi then runs or hides. LOL We love it. Older ones love to tease him "Is that your Girlfriend". We love it more than ever. He has been struggling with his reading but once we sat him down and told him all he needs to do is focus and lots of practice he will improve more than ever. And since he started school he has gotten 100% on all his spelling tests except two. WOW that is awesome. He is also challenging Calvin to do the same. What an inspiration too his siblings.

Daxton, He is turning 4 next month and won't stop talking about it. When where when where over and over. He was recently discharged from his Special Ed Preschool for speech. They said that he was over qualified. WOW never thought we would here that. But, yes he won't stop talking. We have to look at him and say "Daxton Focus on not talking, My ears can only handle so many questions in one minute." LOL but so grateful he is back on track with his talking. On his last day he went around to all of his class mates and gave everyone a huge and said bye. Teacher said it was an emotional day. They all four will miss him dearly he was such a great help with the other students in his class. Their disabilities range from speech to down syndrome to autism. So he will be greatly missed indeed. But, Mom and dad are loving that he is home all day long with Aeden to keep him entertained. They are so cute together.
Aeden, He just turned 2 and the world still revolves around him. LOL He is started to talk well say a few words but the ones he knows are so cute to hear him say. He is still so little but he has to be right up there with the older kids. No fun to big for him. He is always wanting to help mom clean or cook just has to be where all the action is. Just don't pick up the car keys or say lets go and not take him or all H---!!!!!!! will break loose. He is afraid he will miss something if he gets left behind. Recently, he burnt his whole little hand on our friends quad. Second degree burns, Amazing how they just bounce back up and not even flinch. We had to take him to Maricopa County Medical Burn Unit. Well lets just say when my mom and I left there we were so humbles by that experience seeing all the sad faces and tearful eyes, I was so grateful to only have this amount of damage to our baby. Some families have been there months and some don't leave. It has been sad to see him grow, due to the fact that he is the last Harris till we get grand kids but PLEASE let that be twenty years from now. LOL. Love the baby stage and know that we are almost out of that and not sure how I am going to handle it.

These are just a few pics we took recently. Thanks hope all your families are doing well and surviving in the horrible economy.
Well the Harris household has been full of adventure lately, But know that is can get more stressful so we just take one journey at a time. And Mom tries not too stress out too much. Dad has to remind me that we will survive we always do. And kids have to remember mom loves them and is sorry for her moments. LOL

Butcher Jones Fun

We finally took the kids to where I used to swim as a kid. Butcher Jones. Just off of Saguaro Lake. Kids had a blast. Wish we would have brought tennis so we could have gone hiking. But the water was nice and cool and the wind was blowing. So needless to say Mom was able to take pictures. LOL. We of course went with Stradling our party buddy. HAHAHAHA we are wild aren't we. Girls were daring and decided to swim as close to the buoy. Very dirty but kids loved it.

Girls Camp

Well, Since Taylor is now 12 she got too go off for four days to Girls Camp. Since I am now working I wasn't able to send her off and lets just say I was very sad. But I know that she is in good hands and is probably having the time of her life and will hear about it for the rest of her life well until next year. LOL. Hopefully she took lots of pictures.

Both Devin and I are realizing how old she is getting and very excited and sad at the same time. Wish she could stay young a little bit longer.

"Biggest Loser"

OK, Devin and I have been watching every weeks show of "Biggest Loser". And recently my mom and I had the opportunity to workout with Felipe and Sione. They are the most humble and funniest guys I have met in a long time. Every tuesday they have a free "Boot Camp" at their old High School. We grew to love them and after watching the whole season and wishing to meet them and too now get too. Well lets just say words can't describe my excitement.

Update on kids

Hello everyone, Sorry about the past posts and I am back and happier than I was then I due have to apologize to everyone.

Alot has happened and I haven't had the strength to post. So hopefully I can do it now before dinner and kids.

Taylor

Ok, Sunday was a very emotional Day, We have been inactive off and on for the last few months due to my emotional state. But, hopefully it is all over with. I am getting adjusted to my new life and schedule. Anyways, Taylor had her first bishop interview and then off to her first Sunday with the Young Womans. WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW, I am so not ready to believe that my little girl is in young woman's. Well, I went with her to Primary and they gave her a gift for departing Primary. Gotta tell you I was so excited for them to grow up but now that it is happening I am REALLY having a HARD time with it. I just had to hold the tears back. And as they took her to YW room I followed and had to learn how to let her go. Taylor is a very amazing daughter and is very independent just like her mother but sometimes I wish she would ask or need help. Makes me feel like she is still a little girl, Which she isn't, well size yes but I am just gonna have to learn to stop holding her hand and let her grow. And pray she grows the right way and better than her parents have. Then this coming Wednesday she is going off to Girls Camp. I am also very sad because I will have to say my goodbyes the night before due to the fact that I work and am gone before the sun comes up. Will miss her.

Last week of school She had a 6th grade promotion night. Where she received a trophy for most improved with Band and playing the flute. She really struggled when she first started and now that the year is over she is playing amazing. And I am so proud of her for not quiting and practicing practicing practicing. There are pictures with her school friends notice the cute height difference she is and will always their LITTLE sister.

This summer she has been helping out her dad watching kids so much. And I know that she is very appreciated.

Calvin

Calvin had a orchestra concert and did such a good job, they also had a 4th grade program and he just smiled and looked handsome the whole time.

When we headed off to The Taylor home, thank you Frank and Karren. And the kids were able to feed the horse. Not too into it like I thought they would be. Then the boys roped their mom. Very funny sight these pictures don't do justice. Loved every minute of it. Thanks boys for the fun memories. We also were able to enjoy a few hours of a rodeo and watch Devin's cousins and visit their new rodeo grounds. All the boys loved it. Calvin got a new cell phone this summer and he is loving the texting part and think he the funniest little boy in the whole world. One little quote that he said today that just made me laugh when I was supposed to be working not playing with my kiddos. LOL.

K I will try and translate.

Calvin: Hi Mom

Mom: Hey buddy whatcha doin

C: Texting you

M: really sounds like fun

C; sure, I did my chores.

M; Thank you are you bored

C: yes

M; Do some reading or math work,

C; k Groan, J/K

There was a lot more texting in the middle of it but it was mostly him just being bored and I couldn't text after every thing my boss was watching. I thought it was cute he is putting the expressions in there too. He is just like his dad has the funniest and cutest expressions or comments.

Tayton

Well, lets just say he is turning into the sweetest little man ever. He has been such an awesome little boy ever. Dad and I were really concerned about him recently. About two weeks ago, he was sleeping in bed when all of the sudden he woke up screaming his head off. Well come to find out he had been bit by a scorpion and was still being bit. He had it wadded up in his pj shirt. Well we killed it and proceeded to make phone calls to find out what too do. After only 30 minutes he was going into seizure mode. Couldn't control himself, while foaming at the mouth and throwing up. Sorry for the details. We then proceeded to call 911. Where it felt like eternity for them to arrive. We then jumped into the truck and sat in our front yard for over an hour trying to get his IV in his little arm while he was moving like crazy. It took Dad and I and two other ambulance drivers to hold him down and we still were unsuccessful on getting on in him. So we finally said get going and we were off to the ER. Well lets just say I think Tayton had every nurse and Dr in his little curtain room. There to help and assist him to getting him better. I was a complete wreck and am tearing up as I am writing this. Was a very scary moment that I never want too go threw again. After 5 hours and seeing my little man having down syndrome and autism characteristics. He had 3 shots of the anti venom and he was almost better. We had the most amazing nurse hold Taytons arm for 3 hours straight too restrain him from hurting himself and everyone else. When we left he went over to Lincoln and said Thank you and Lincoln lifted him up and gave him a bear hug. That was so sweet. Let me tell you that Lincoln wasn't even supposed to be helping Tayton he was in a different location but when the emergency called he jumped to the opportunity and did an amazing job. Thank you so much Lincoln. He is one who is an amazing employee and very grateful for his dedication. Tayton is only about 60 people who have had this antidote so we had to read up on it before we signed the paper and let me tell you I gave that one too Dad, Mom wasn't in the right state of mind. Tayton is doing fine now still won't sleep in his bed but we are slowly working on it. He was really sore the next few days after the accident but other than that he was great.

Then two days after that he lost his first tooth, Man was he nervous about that one. But once it got hit out by the ball he was excited to get his dollar. Which the tooth fairy forgot the first night. LOL We are hiring a new one by the way.

Daxton

Well for everyone who doesn't know he has speech delay, But what is really amazing is he is starting to talk correctly and it makes mommy very sad. But, grateful at the same time. I know that he needs to talk right but miss the cute words that he said.

Daxton is becoming that family pill, he is learned NO, and all those amazing bad habits that he should have learned about a year ago, and gradually gotten worse but for him he is just hitting us with it all at once so we are learning to deal with him patiently, Well trying that is.

While we were up at the Taylor home, and at the rodeo Daxton had this love for the rope and was wanting to learn how to rope the bulls head. So grandma borrowed a rope from the family and entered him into a contest. He didn't win but for a first timer and no practice he did amazing. Think we are going to buy one and let him practice and next time maybe he will place.

Aeden

He is growing up so fast and it makes me so sad. He still isn't talking but we are working on sign language and he has please and thank you down. Well not perfect but I love that he is trying. He is all about playing right along side his older brothers and sister. He tries so hard to keep up with them. But, glad he still gets time too stop and love on his mommy.

Well, Devin is still working on his schooling in august he will go full time and hopefully get it over faster and better our families future. He is still the Young Men's 1st Counselor and starting to have his fun with weekend camp outs. Mom is sad because he can't take a few boys along with him to lighten my load. LOL very proud of him and glad he is setting the great example for his sons.

I am still working with photo and liking it missing being home but I have already been working for 3 months and going by fast. So I am counting down the days till Devin's school is done and I can return to my favorite job as mom and house wife and this time I will have a better respect for my calling and enjoy every second I have to spend it with my kids. Because as I am learning they are growing up right before my eyes and I am so sad but excited to see how they are turning out. They all are doing amazing and glad they are setting great examples for their siblings and friends.

Sorry so long been awhile since I posted. Hopefully it won't be this far away next time. Enjoy
