$69,999.00

How crazy is that. I got an email from my Realtor that she thinks it is time to lower our home once again too $69,999.00. The bank after 6 months still hasn't set a foreclosure date. Which is good but, very surprising. Crazy how the market has gone just straight down. Well spread the word our home is almost free LOL.

Congratulations

I just wanted to tell my little sister Mindy congratulations. She had her second baby. Brylee Rose Colwell 6 lbs 12 ounces, 19 inches. Devin and I were able to leave all the kids home with Taylor, Yeah and go down to the hospital and visit the two of them. She had a lot of company crammed in a small room. She looked like she was in lot of pain but she still looked great, AS ALWAYS. She was a trooper hope she gets feeling better as the night goes on.
It made me wanna cry when I held that little newborn baby in my arms it made me realize that I will never have another baby ever. As much as I love my kids and yes I have plenty. I would have more kids if I could afford them and had much much much more patience. Thank goodness Devin was the smart one and went and got fixed. I love babies but would love to trade them in once they are three LOL. Guess I will just love on all my brothers and sisters that are still not done having kids.
Love you Mindy

Daddy Daughter Dance

I gotta tell you, I am really enjoying being the Leader with Taylor's Jr. Girl Scout Troop in Florence. These past two years has really been fun. So this year we realized that we don't really see the Father's involved with girl scouts. Of course it is because they are always working. So this Saturday we had a Daddy Daughter Dance and we had a great turnout and I know that it wasn't what the Dad's were totally into but I think for the most part they enjoyed the evening with their daughters.

We started out the night with my Dad (who is a professional Country Western Dance Instructor) teaching the couples (LOL) the two step. And want too send a special thank you for coming all the way from Mesa to help these couple's dance. Really simple to start off with. Then he added some turns into it. Some got it and some didn't. But that's okay we really enjoyed watching everyone try and let me tell you. The girls always had a smile on their faces. They will remember this night for a very long time. Thanks dads for participating.

Then we ate a Mexican Potluck. All the girls brought something to share. We had plenty of food. Thanks for everyone pitching in we couldn't have done it without your help.

Then the girls got their dads back up there for two dances the "YMCA" and "Macarana" Gotta tell you that was the best part of the night when the dads were getting their grove on and coming out of their comfort zone. Thanks Devin, he isn't one to open up and show off his hips but we now have it on video to prove it. Love you babe.

Then the girls had their dads come up and recieve an award which the girls decided what their dads deserved. Since we had a set of twins in our troop he got two, lucky man. Most of the girls gave them the "Best Dad Award". Think they were too shy too think of anythingelse.

I am glad that the dad's were able to come down to their daughters level for one night and act imiture and bond with their girls. I know I really enjoyed it when my dad used to do that with me and my sisters.

Devin's Color

You Are a Blue Crayon

Your world is colored in calm, understated, deep colors.

You are a loyal person, and the truest friend anyone could hope to find.

On the inside, you tend to be emotional and even a bit moody.

However, you know that people depend on you. So you put on a strong front.

Your color wheel opposite is orange. Orange people may be opinionated, but you feel they lack the depth to truly understand what they're saying.

Well, Good Thoughts

I am leaving a post regarding my last post. Today while I was at The Dollar Store, with all Five kids. I had once again another older lady comment that I had FIVE KIDS. And I politely said yes, Smiled and looked at all of them. She then proceeded to tell me that she could only handle her three boys. Then said that she gives me credit for doing such a good job handling them. She said that she had been watching me threw out the store and she said that I was doing a great job. It made me realize that there are polite people out there that don't criticize all us young mothers.

Then another lady commented on how I was talking politely to my hubby on the phone. Then I realized that there are nosy people too. LOL. I guess what I am saying is it made me feel really good too have people tell me what a good job I am doing. Because today was defiantly one of those days I needed someone to tell me, I wanted to scream after having all the kids and running around Mesa looking for last minute Girl Scout items for our Father Daughter Dance. Yeah.

Stupid People in the world

Ok I am just gonna vent for a while, HAHAHA. I know that I look young and that I am young for having five kids. But, I am really tired of stupid people in this world trying to tell me how to raise my kids and/or telling me that I have too many kids. For one, it is none of their business how many kids Devin and I decide to have. Two, I am not asking for any one's help raising them. I am a stay at home mom doing the best job that I can do. And Devin is working full time doing a Dang good job busting his butt to provide for his wife and five kids.

I went into a store and of course all my kids followed behind me. And as usually Daxton (TWO YEAR OLD) was a little wild. And I was putting Aeden down so I could calm him down and of course I hear the whispering in the back ground. The typical are those really all her kids or are you babysitting. So I having a sum what bad day turned around smiled then went off. Yes they are mine and I am proud of them even when they are having a wild moment. I was really amazed by their response. But, Just tired of the looks and the stupid questions. Well, Mumbling behind my back like I can't hear them.

I am now 30 years old and I have been doing this for a long time and don't need the criticizing behind my back that I shouldn't have so many kids and they are out of control. For everyone who has kids you know that they are not always perfect. There is always one in the group that is crazy in public. But you can't get rid of them so you just pray that they don't go over bored on the tantrums.

Okay I am done but just pray that people will think before they whisper or judge because they don't know every one's situation.

WHAT COLOR ARE YOU!!!!!!

You Are a Yellow Crayon

Your world is colored with happy, warm, fun colors.

You have a thoughtful and wise way about you. Some people might even consider you a genius.

Charming and eloquent, you are able to get people to do things your way.

While you seem spontaneous and free wheeling, you are calculating to the extreme.

Your color wheel opposite is purple. You both are charismatic leaders, but purple people act like you have no depth.

Well Another OWIE!!!!!!!

Well, As I was done putting the food in the oven. A thought came over me, "Go check on the kids out front", They were all four out front playing kick ball with two neighbor boys. And just as I got out front door, Calvin ran up saying, "Mom, It's Daxton he is bleeding really bad", "Well what happened" "I don't know" "Thought you were supposed to be watching him", "Well he tripped and fell". And that ended that conversation right there. For all of you that don't know Daxton He trips all the time. So clumbsy.

Basically he now has a fat lip and a sadder face than before. Poor baby. Since he doesn't like cold stuff he will have a fat lip for a few days. I feel so bad for him. Guess next time he won't be walking LOL.

Work and the Glory

OK, I gotta tell you, I honestly don't think I have sat down and read an Adult book since High School. I know how sad. I am just not a strong reader and let me tell you how many distractions I have in my life. I read a page or two and then have no idea what I just read so I get frustrated and quit.

Well, I have been reading with my kids and making sure they read so I felt like a hypocrite so I decided that I needed to show them that I also can sit down and read a book or two. So I borrowed The work and the glory from my dad. He has all the books. Let me tell you how hard it is too get into the book at first it is slow but now that I am into chapter 3 it is getting really good.

Taylor was in the ER with bronchitis, I got about 20 pages done. And Taylor was able to finish her book and she took her AR test and passed. So proud of her for all the books she has been reading this year. SO far she has read 4 books.

Daxton First Day of Preschool

Well, It has finally come. I have only one kid home during the day. As many of you know 6 months ago Daxton talked as much as a 6 month old would. Yea it was nice and quiet in our home. Well not really but quiet for having four that would talk. Well for the last 9 months he has had a speech therapist coming once a week to our home and working with him. And teaching our family some techniques that we can do everyday to help him talk and talk better. And let me tell you I want them too know what an amazing job both woman did. But now he is moving on to a bigger program with Mesa Public Schools. He is attending a Special Ed Preschool that specializes in Speech and he also gets to interact with kids his own age three days a week. He now rides the Short-Bus, We love it he is so proud of his new bus, I think he loves that part of the school better than the actual school. He is so cute.

I gotta tell you as much as I joke around about the fact that I am so excited that I now only have one child at home with me, I was such a baby when I was leaving Dax at the school. When I got in the car I called Devin and just cried. I felt so horrible and he wasn't even upset or scared he seemed so excited(in Daxton's way) that he was going to go and play and learn. But, I felt horrible. My baby is only two years old, and I am leaving him at a school. Guess I need to realize this is for his own good and hopefully he will be talking normally sooner than later.

These pictures are of Daxton at his school with his new Teacher. Mrs. Linda

I need your help

I am having a Father Daughter Dance for girl scouts and we are going to be handing out awards and we need some cute awards for the girls and their dads. So far we have a set of twins and we are going to be giving them the Double Dating award. And then Best dressed award. If you happen to know anymore awards please let me know, my brain has given up.

Aeden's Officially One Years Old

Family Photo

Well, I am so sad right now. Last night was the last time ever that Devin and I will be throwing a child of ours a First Birthday Party. Makes me wanna cry to know that we will never ever have another child, Not that we don't have a few. But still makes me realize that my babies are all growing up so fast and I just wish we had more time on earth with our children to soak in all the good times. We seem to remember more bad than good times.

So excited to get his presents

Anyways, we went to Red Mountain Park in Mesa. My sister, brother, Mom and Skip, Dad and his girlfriend, Devin's parents and brother, Arleen and all the many kids that came with parents came to celebrate this one last first birthday. Thanks everyone it was awesome. Here are a few pictures of the night. Enjoy

"Chocolate"

Taylor got a bunny for her birthday almost two years ago and now that we have moved we can't keep it. Don't have an enclosed back yard and too many bugs back there too deal with bunny getting bit. It is a great pet very very low maintenance if you know anyone who would love him. Please let us know. We also just have tight quarters here and are not having the space for anything extra. Please help me find a great home. We have everything you would need for it. Food bedding extra.
