ER with Taylor

Well we had a school fundraiser at "SKATE Land" Remember that place. I just wanna scream. I was gathering up Taylor and Calvin, so we could leave and I had a classmate of Taylor's come up too me and tell me that she had fallen and couldn't get up, LOL. I looked at him like what do you want me to do, I know what a horrible mom. Then I realized that she was hurt and she needed her MOMMY. She was so brave sitting in the middle of the floor with a crowd of kids asking if she was OK. Meanwhile I had to have that boy watch my younger two so I could go onto the skate floor and check on her. Yep sure enough she couldn't walk. So thank goodness she is tiny( 11 years old and only 59 pounds) I picked her up and walked across the floor, dodging skaters. I even ran with her in my arms, wow what a funny looking woman. But I felt like SUPER MOM. I could see that she wanted to cry but wasn't gonna because the whole school was there. Felt really good about the kids in her class even boys kept coming up too her and asking if she needed anything and if she was OK. I don't remember 6Th grade boys doing that for me when I was her age.

Anyways, I had to have Calvin push the stroller, Tayton hold Daxton's hand and pray that Daxton would actually let him while I carried Taylor too the car without hitting her leg on anything, And I actually did it. YEAH!!!!!!!!! By the time that I actually go everybody loaded, I finally had time to think and realized that I hadn't even told Devin (her father) what had happened. He was helping Kevin move. So I ran over dropped all the boys off with him and Taylor and I headed too the ER.

Let me tell you I was there forever but I think that they treat kids faster than they do adults. There was a lady there for two hours before us and she was taken back ten minutes before us. And we left there just about five minutes after she did. WAy craZy

Well the outcome of the whole night is that she didn't break it or sprain it she just bruised it really bad so she is now on crutches. She has to ice it and straighten it a few times a day. That is really hard for her. But I don't think she is milking the situation yet she is really missing being able to move around freely. She is a tough little girl. Love you brave little me. MISS TAYLOR

The last picture if kinda dark but it is Tayton hanging on for dear life too the wall on the other side of the floor. He was having a lot of trouble skating on the slick floor.

Miracle PLEASE

Ok, every mom just needs to vent right. Well I am going too. Even though I have five kids, I still freak out when the little ones get a fever. Well, Aeden being only one (as of Saturday), has had a fever of 102 (off and on) since Saturday plus diarrhea. And I took him to Urgent Care Last night and of course all they say is it is viral and no medicine is needed. No ear infection. Basically it has to run its course. My poor baby has been sick now for four almost five days. I am getting upset with the technology we have today in the year 2008/. You would think that there would be a magic cure for our babies. It makes me so sad to see him like this. He is always so happy and for the last week he hasn't been nothing but a sad ball of chunk.

And I being a awesome mother quit nursing him two weeks ago, and now is the perfect thing for him is too be nursing and getting those natural vitamins and well I am rambling, But I feel horrible because I know that is what makes a nursing baby happy is too lay next too their moms and relax.

If anyone has advice for me or a miracle cure PLEASE spread the knowledge.

Happy Birthday Paris

It was our good friends daughter's 2nd birthday so we went over too their home for a poo/bounce party. The kids really enjoyed them selves thanks Kevin and Patricia Again for the fun time. Aeden got too have his own cupcake so there are pics of him going to town on his cupcake, the mess was started by mom couldn't help myself in the fun of messy one year olds and their first cake. (well not really for him but we can pretend)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AEDEN

WOW, I just wanna cry. Yesterday was Aeden's 1st BDAY. and of course he had to be sick. Thank goodness his party isn't till Monday, so hopefully he will be much healthier so he can enjoy his cake and ice cream.

When he was born he was really colicky and after I took him too chiropractor he has been such a wonderful baby. I am so sad that he is already one. I know that he is growing up so fast and I am not ready for him to keep going. I want a baby forever. They are so innocent and happy. I have been so blessed with great babies. But not too sure about the 2 threw 5 stage. Just a few pictures that are still on my computer on Aeden that I thought were cute.

Notre Dame Game

Well another win so excited I think they only won two games last year so we are tied with last year. But I think we are going to be having a much better year. Keep praying for the Fighten Irish. Michigan 17 and Notre Dame 35.

NOTRE DAME FIGHTING IRISH - Football

NOTRE DAME FIGHTING IRISH - Football

Football Season Notre Dame

I can't believe its already that time again. When I was a kid my dad and brothers were die hard Dallas Cowboys fans. And my dad still is. I never really got into the sport until three years ago when I decided to actually sit down with my best friend and try and understand what he get out of this game. I of course am not as addicted to it as he is. But it sure is a rush when they are close to a touchdown or when they intercept the ball, and well all that good stuff.

Last year was definitely a big bummer but hopefully the new team has had time too get to work together and we can win this. First game of the year yes we smothered them. 21 Notre Dame to 13 San Diego. Well it was a great game. So excited that they won, starts the year off exciting.

I LOVE MY KIDS

I gotta tell you how Freaken Funny my kids are. Best part is they are so much like their mother it isn't funny. We had a real lazy day yesterday just laying around playing ex box, and kids playing with their toys. So I asked Calvin too show me his muscles, so he lifted up his shirt. Then Taylor decided to take some cute pictures. So the rest are of them goofing around.

Memorial Weekend

Daxton waiting patiently for Devin too start the quad. He loves to ride he doesn't care what it is or how long the ride is he just loves too ride.

He finally gave up at the end of the day. He fell asleep on Mom. Guess I drive like a girl so it was smooth sailing. I guess I need to work on the roughing it part.
Abi and Taylor living up the weekend. They aren't your typical Girls.
Well we headed up North to Flagstaff, The Cinders and had a really good time. Devin and Kevin headed up Saturday night and the kids and I headed up Sunday mid morning. Wasn't as bad of a drive as I thought it would be with five kids. The babies slept for about an hour and a half. I only had to stop Four times. I think that is pretty good. Once for Lunch, then potty breaks and another drink, then air in tires, and the last stop was for ice for the ice chests that were already up at camp.

When we left we had a really bad wind. And well needless to say our nice big tent is now dead. We had to bury it. The wind grabbed it and took it away, but the stakes were doing their job and they didn't go anywhere so it shredded it.
The last picture is looking down the Hundred dollar mountain. They call it that because it will cost more than that too replace all your gear. I was cringing the whole time he was going up it and down it. I gave him a kiss and said I am glad you enjoyed yourself but do it when I am not around. K thanks.

Tayton's First Principal Award

I just about fell out of my computer chair. My kids had a early release today. And of course seeing how it's Friday and didn't check their bags, but sure enough my sweet little boy came up and said "Look Mom at what I won." And since they are selling cookie dough really didn't think much of it. Then he brought a blue construction paper too me. And he opened it and sure enough a nice award was in it from the principal. I almost thought it was a miss print. No really I did. I do love Tayton but he has always been my trying child. But ever since he started Kindergarten he is a completely different child. BELIEVE ME I LOVE IT. He is still trying at times but he now will come up too me and wrap his arms around me and tell me what a cute mom I am, or how he thinks my shirt is cute. Even when it really isn't, but it sure makes me feel like a Queen too hear my 5 year old tell me that.

I LOVE YOU TAYTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also want too say how awesome it was for the school and principal too give him that award. It is a hard transition for these kids and to get an award for following the rules. Well it just makes them feel so special too get anything. Hopefully he realizes that if he keeps up the great work then he can get lots more awards. GO Mr. Cort and Mrs. Boyd
